Teacher Appreciation

Each year, we kick off with an All Staff Breakfast, welcoming new and returning staff members. During the event, we hand out gift bags to new team members and provide every certified teacher with a $75 Amazon gift card as a token of our appreciation.

Throughout the year, we continue to show our gratitude by sponsoring Junction Coffee visits to campus. Foundation trustees personally deliver coffee orders to staff members, adding a special touch to their day.

As a final thank you, we wrap up the school year by distributing gift cards to local restaurants, ensuring our staff knows how much they are valued.

We can’t send the entire 5th grade class to a NASA space camp, but we can send their teachers! This new program covers the cost for 5 teachers, each summer, to attend summertime camps, academies, and experiences related to their subject matter to get hands on, immersive experiences and bring that back to inspire the students. Also, a great way for the Foundation to say THANK YOU to the teachers and send them on a trip!

The BPS Foundation is proud to support our teachers and staff through grants that provide essential equipment, teaching aids, technology, and classroom supplies to enhance the educational experience for our students.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Foundation fulfills over $40,000 in grant requests annually. These grants help teachers access the tools they need, such as:

• Books for libraries

• Microscopes

• Calculators

• Orchestra and band instruments

• Wheelchairs

• And much more!
